Orlando City SC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015, and in 2017, moved into its privately-owned downtown soccer stadium. In 2022, Orlando City SC re-launched OCB as a founding member of MLS NEXT Pro to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.

Throwback Tuesday ?? Join us in celebrating our?Orlando City?and?Orlando Pride?2024 Starting 11! Each team member has embodied our core club values—Passionate, Authentic, Diverse, and Fan First—making a lasting impact on our organization. A special shoutout to?Shaquille Scott?and?Sophia Pellicci, who rounded out our 2024 season with dedication and excellence. We had the opportunity to ask both of them a few questions: Authentic:?What motivates you to go above and beyond in your role? Shaq: Being grateful for having the opportunity to work in sports. It was a long journey for me to get my shot at being here, so I work every day like it is my last. Diverse - Your most memorable moment with the club? Sophie: My favorite moment I have had so far with the club was our trip out to Kansas City to support the Orlando Pride at the NWSL Championship. It was such an incredible opportunity to travel with everyone to support the team in the final stage. The energy the whole way there was amazing and even better when we arrived at the stadium. Cheering in the stands with my coworkers was an experience I will never forget, and I am so thankful that our amazing ownership made the trip happen for us.
