As part of our annual initiative, Orion Gives Back, we are proud to contribute to our communities in various ways. One of the most impactful ways we give back is by partnering with local food banks like the Houston Food Bank. Every year, our teams participate in food drives and volunteer efforts to support those in need, and we’ve seen firsthand how much even the smallest contributions can make a difference. The Houston Food Bank, along with other local organizations, plays a vital role in ensuring that families have access to food and basic necessities. Here are some simple things to remember when donating to food banks this season: ?? Boxed milk is a treasure, as kids need it for cereal. ?? Pasta sauce, soup, and canned veggies are always needed. ?? Can openers are an overlooked necessity (canned goods without tab tops often go unused because people don't always have a can opener at home). ?? Sugar, flour, and even salt are appreciated but often forgotten. ?? Feminine hygiene products and cleaning supplies are in high demand. ?? Bread is always needed. (Peanut butter & jelly are a great treat, but hard to eat without the bread!) ?? Don’t forget to include individually packaged treats! These are just a few examples of how you can help. Excited to share our work on the 701 Richmond project, a multifamily development located near Houston's Montrose area, in collaboration with Arch-Con ! This six-story building, developed by Shelter Companies (a Civitas Capital Group company), features 238 units across 199,320 square feet. The structure includes three stories of cast-in-place concrete parking, a fourth-floor pool and courtyard, 14,122 square feet of amenities, and 4,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Designed by Meeks , the building is constructed with load-bearing metal stud framing, and the garage spans 109,000 square feet.
