关于我们
Origami Works Foundation seeks to help Chicagoland's most impoverished citizens overcome barriers to earning a living. We remove obstacles to employment and make opportunities more visible. We work with community-based organizations, educational institutions, employers, and government agencies to identify opportunities to enable people to work. Then we partner with appropriate organizations, and fund and often staff and execute projects to meet our mutual goals.

Ann worked on this and it makes me so happy. ??
For five years now, with steadfast cheer, Allison’s presence has been so dear. Her work is hidden, her impact profound, In every corner, her efforts are found. Allison’s dedication and grace Keep Origami Works operations in place. Behind the scenes and full of heart, Her Brobdingnagian efforts set her apart. Allison’s lexicon is vast and bright, Her emails are a poetic delight. Using sesquipedalian words beyond compare, She could write this poem with ease and flair. AI helped me write, But I still couldn't get it right, I can't even do haiku. With love for Allison Harju ??

Five years - PLUS!? PLUS! because Allison started contributing even before Origami Works was Origami Works.?PLUS! because Allison's work requires that she track the past, the present, and the future … with compliance requirements, budget integrity and bookkeeping details, employee needs, payroll, etc.? PLUS! because time is just linear and Allison is not!?
? 5 Year Workaversary Announcement ? Hi! I'm Allison Harju, Operations Manager for Origami Works Foundation and as of yesterday, I have been with Origami Works for 5 years!!! (If you don't know me, most of what I do is behind the scenes.) Thanks for 5 years of experience & growth!

?? First Year Workaversary Announcement ?? Austin Morales-Sanchez came to Origami Works Foundation a year ago as Project 55 Princeton Grad and Project Management Fellow. In that time he has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the foundation with his reliability, and calm, attentive level-headedness. Beyond that, Austin has revealed himself to be an excellent conversationalist with an understated sense of humor and a hidden talent for billiards. (Still waiting on a Dani vs Austin match!) Thank you, Austin! For being the perfect example of calm, cool & collected; for never failing to help me find the perfect wording for an email; for your overall ability to “make it look easy.” Everyone at Origami Works is grateful to have you on the Team and we look forward to many more successful years together! Happy Workaversary, Austin!!!
