关于我们

Organization Theory (OT), published in collaboration with the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS), is a global, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes the best theory and review work in the domain of organization and management studies. The journal offers a platform for theory development and theory-related discussions that significantly deepen our understanding of different subject areas in organization and management studies; critiquing or enriching received views, and identifying significantly new ways of researching and understanding a particular subject. Last week I had the opportunity to attend a Paper Development Workshop at the Melbourne Business School (MBS) hosted by Organization Studies and Organization Theory. Presenting a working paper to a roundtable of colleagues provided novel insights and stimulated thought-provoking discussion, regarding the theoretical positioning of my current research. What was impressed upon me was the importance of "collegial collaboration". Through the sharing of ideas with colleagues from different theoretical persuasions and areas of expertise, we can elevate our own research to advance management scholarship. I look forward to incorporating the feedback from this workshop to contribute meaningfully to management research. I would like to thank all of the organisers from the MBS, the journal facilitators and all of the PDW attendees for the discussions and insights offered.

It was a pleasure for Melbourne Business School to host a workshop for early career researchers and PhD students in organization studies/theory in conjunction with the journals Organization Studies and Organization Theory. I personally learnt a great deal from researchers in another discipline and was heartened to see all the great work done by junior scholars. The future is bright. Markus A. H?llerer Tammar B. Zilber
