Thank you Susan Donnan for sharing your takeaways from the recent Community Convo on March 12 regarding ???????????????????????? ???????????????? ???? ???????????? presented by Bernard Mohr and Jodie Goulden. The session started off clarifying the concept of a regenerative business, its focus, and the value it can bring to an enterprise. Critical elements for success and practical examples were shared, along with how to address common barriers. The conversation concluded with a breakout session where participants shared their insights and ideas. The key takeaways, as captured and shared by Susan Donnan: 1?? Regenerative businesses go beyond doing less harm. They generate profits through purpose by solving the world’s problems through innovative products and services. 2?? As Organization Design practitioners, we can build a better world by helping our business clients prosper through regeneration. 3?? Traditionally the OD field has focused more internally (from inside-out) to improve individual organizations. The call is to evolve our field to focus more externally (from outside-in) to improve business ecosystems engaging multiple stakeholders including societies, communities, and nature.
