As a NEDA Proficient End-of-Life Doula and NEDA Member, we are immensely grateful to the National End of Life Doula Alliance for identifying our set of standards to uphold as End-of-Life Doulas; inclusive of the model of care, scope of practice, code of ethics, earning proficiency badges & certification, and connecting EOL Doulas with one another. NEDA is also an educational resource to the general public to understand how an EOL Doula is supportive to individuals and families facing the end of life. As listed on their website: NEDA's mission is to influence positive changes in how people experience end of life by developing and advocating numerous efforts that improve access to a broad spectrum of holistic non-medical support provided by end-of-life doulas (EOLDs). Our goal is to elevate the role of EOLDs to a position that is recognized, understood, utilized, and well-integrated into mainstream end-of-life care practices. Learn more at: www.nedaalliance.org
NEDA is a nonprofit 501c6 membership organization dedicated to supporting EOLDs and the families they serve.
