?? Newhall is setting new standards in early literacy! ?? At Orenda, we believe that great educators don’t just find the floor—they reach for the ceiling. And Newhall School District is proving just that! A recent Learning Walk at Newhall Elementary School showcased the district’s unwavering commitment to Curriculum Alignment, rigor, and student engagement. From classroom to classroom, we saw a system taking shape—one that ensures every student receives the support they need to succeed. One standout initiative? Wiley Canyon Elementary made headlines for setting a foundational goal: Every kindergarten student will know 100 sight words. This isn’t just about setting a floor—it’s about building a launchpad for lifelong literacy. Go Newhall Go! ?? A huge shoutout to Christine Rich, Sarah Mott Gonzales, Ed.D., Cynthia Monreal González, and the incredible educators across the district for their dedication to accelerating student success.
