I Am Not Invisible: Honoring Oregon’s Women Veterans The I Am Not Invisible (IANI) exhibit is a groundbreaking campaign launched in 2017 to spotlight the experiences of women veterans. This powerful photo exhibit has traveled nationally and been replicated across the VA and multiple states, and continues to inspire, educate and raise awareness of women, across Oregon, who have served our country. In 2021, the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs (ODVA) was honored with the Abraham Lincoln Pillars of Excellence Award by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs for its leadership in the IANI campaign. The exhibit continues to grow, reaching new audiences and fostering dialogue about the contributions and challenges of women who have served. In 2024 alone, IANI was showcased at 18 events across Oregon.
