Youth at MacLaren YCF participated in a career fair last week where each unit had the opportunity to talk with representatives from different industries including folks who have been previously justice-involved. As one formerly justice-involved individual said about his current success, “I want to let them know, there are other ways to go. You have choices.” Youth had the opportunity to learn about a variety of industries and job training programs from our partners. Read more about those opportunities in our Inside OYA blog post.
