Jeff Hoffman shows how you can use Ordinal to help write letters to your community members! In this example, he asks the AI to draft an email requesting that a resident cleans up the trash on the side of their house. As always, Ordinal references the relevant citations and tees up a thorough, polite letter clearly addressing the issue, making it easy for city staff to handle the situation. We are saddened by the recent passing of Donald Shoup. Donald will be remembered as one of the most important planning minds of the late 20th century and early 21st century. Best known for his work on parking reform, his push for low-priced paid parking helped to reduce traffic congestion, decrease air pollution, and fund public services throughout the US. In the process, he made our urban environments better for all of us, and for that, we are indebted to him. Thank you, Donald, for reminding us that cities are for people first. If you’d like to learn more about Donald Shoup and his thoughts on parking policy, you can hear from the man yourself by checking out this excellent video by Planetizen: https://lnkd.in/gRt9nkAE
