"Our normal reaction as human beings when we see change is to feel a little bit threatened by that. The court reporting field is full of examples of things that maybe were perceived threats when they first came around, like electronic transcripts, or back-up audio recordings, or legal videography. All of those perceived threats, in the end, actually turned out to be really great assistive tools to me as the reporter to actually serve my clients better and have a more efficient workflow. AI is the exact same situation . . . it enhances my ability to serve my clients and provide new value to them, that I couldn't before."
