??Econ Trail Expansion Project Update?? Crews spent this week installing massive concrete beams overnight to support a new two-lane bridge over S.R. 408 parallel to the existing bridge. The new bridge will carry Econ Trail northbound traffic while the existing bridge will carry southbound traffic. The $66.7 million project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2026.

Earlier this month, the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida shared the inspiring story of Ellease Cabrera, a young mother of two who overcame homelessness. With help from HSN, she accessed emergency shelter, job training, and housing support, giving her the tools to rebuild her family’s future. Experience the powerful moment when Ellease takes center stage at this year’s 31st Anniversary Luncheon.

??? This past Saturday, we celebrated Orange County Recycles Day by inviting residents to explore how their waste items and recyclables are managed. Attendees got to learn about recycling right, test their knowledge with hands-on activities, tour the Orange County Landfill, and pledge to practice sustainable habits. Last week, Orange County Corrections management took an important step by participating in a two-day leadership retreat led by Dean Crisp, founder of the LHLN - Leaders Helping Leaders Network and a law enforcement veteran with 30 years of experience. The retreat focused on his unique Diamond Leadership method— a four-point strategy that sparks positive, self-sustaining change. This is just the beginning! ??
