We are thrilled to share that Dr.?Michelle?Greenfield-Feig will be pursuing advanced training in zoological and aquatic animal medicine as the Indianapolis Zoo Harlan Family Veterinary Intern. A graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Greenfield-Feig has always had a special interest in non-traditional species. During her rotating internship here at Oradell Animal Hospital, Dr. Greenfield-Feig routinely volunteered in the veterinary department at the Bergen County Zoo. She has also published a number of studies on bottlenose dolphins and hosts Aquadocs, a podcast about aquatic animal medicine. As one of the zoo veterinarians, Dr. Greenfield-Feig will be attending to clinical cases, focusing on preventative medicine, completing surgery and necropsies, mentoring students, and pursuing research on non-traditional species.? We are very proud of all that Dr. Greenfield-Feig has accomplished and wish her much success as she continues forward in her career. Her dedication, knowledge, and compassion for her patients and colleagues will undoubtedly make a significant impact in the lives of the animals she cares for.?
