Students in Queensland recently had the chance to hear directly from Mobil 1 Optus Racing driver Chaz Mostert about his personal experience dealing with trolls and negativity online in a Digital Thumbprint workshop focused on cyberbullying. We got well and truly into the spirit of Diwali at Optus last week! It was wonderful to see so many people joining in the celebrations with traditional dhol drummers and dancing. Part of Inclusion Week at Optus, we also showcased our eight employee networks and communities, who play a pivotal role in making sure everyone at Optus feels safe, respected and included. #OptusLife

We welcomed students from Pymble Ladies' College to complete a week of work experience in the Optus data science team, and we were so impressed by their ability and willingness to learn. We recognise the importance of having diverse voices in data science, and we are proud to have played a small role in inspiring the students to pursue a career in STEM.?

The ACCC has notified us today of their decision to take action over inappropriate sales practices, including involving vulnerable customers. We sincerely apologise to all customers affected by this misconduct and for the distress caused.
