OPTIMUS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supported through patient revenues, the generous support of the community, and grants from federal, state and local government. and private and public foundations. All patient revenues are used for the actual cost of health care. We are Caring for Connecticut for over 40 years

Any federal changes that restrict Medicaid access will have a?devastating impact?on our communities. We must stand together to?protect federal Medicaid and ensure healthcare for all. Today,?Don Thompson (StayWell Health Center)?joined?Senator Matthew Lesser & Rep. Jillian Gilchrest?to speak out against?$880 billion in proposed federal Medicaid cuts?that threaten healthcare access. Alongside Don was?Sabrina Trocchi, PhD, MPA?(Wheeler Health),?& Dr. Joshua Jones (Wheeler Health),?they spoke on the urgent need to protect federal Medicaid funding, with?Joanne Borduas BSN, MSN, MBA (Community Health & Wellness Center) also present in support. Building Wellness, Strengthening Community: Celebrating the Ruth E. Rodriguez Wellness Center On Friday, September 13th, we celebrated the completion of the new Optimus Health Care Ruth E. Rodriguez Wellness Center! This state-of-the-art facility will provide crucial services such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, behavioral health, nutrition, and lactation support to the local community. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this vision a reality—especially the dedicated Optimus Health Care team, Mark Troost with Stein|Troost Architects to the local leaders who championed this project.
