The "Grow Well" mentality which uses the opportunities for more work as leverage to invest intentionally into the business. PROGRESS We're excited to be working on "The Granite Block" on Commercial Street in downtown! This five-story historic building, originally built as a warehouse in 1854, is well underway in its transformation into a high-end hotel. This renovation is carefully preserving the building's original character while incorporating modern features. Each suite will include a kitchen, laundry room, living room, and city views. PROGRESS In just a few short months, we went from a slab to a finished project on Endicott Street in Danvers, Massachusetts. A huge thank you to all of our incredible subcontractors and trade partners who have worked tirelessly to bring this project to where it is today. We can't wait for the landscaping this summer to officially tie a bow on this project! We're also beginning intersection work on Endicott Street to facilitate better traffic flow and provide easy access to this shopping mall. #optimumconstruction #massconstruction

WE'RE HIRING Our team is growing. Optimum is hiring a full-time SENIOR ESTIMATOR to help us continue this great work and serve as a key team member in our Pre-construction Department. This position will be a primary point of contact for our clients, subcontractors and design consultants during the Pre-construction phase for the Danvers, Massachusetts office location.

While restoring the University of Southern Maine's historic Academic Building, love notes, drawings, and homework assignments were discovered in a wooden gap near the stairs. This building once served as a grade school and secondary school for children in the early 1800s. The repairs for this project were extensive. Lee Hoagland, a specialist in historic property restoration, found the letters. He rebuilt much of the front wall, including the antique window frames, shored up the second-story balcony, and reinforced the wooden columns that supported it. #optimumconstruction #historicalrestoration https://lnkd.in/gwhVJrgZ

GROUNDBREAKING Last week, we celebrated the groundbreaking of The Mooring of Kennebunk—Maine’s newest boutique memory care location. Scheduled for completion in Fall 2025, The Mooring of Kennebunk will provide a home for individuals living with dementia. The Mooring goes beyond traditional institutional care and nursing home models. It offers customized, resident-centric care with programming designed to leverage cognitive strengths, preserve autonomy, and respect individuality.
