Fun fact about me: I suck at writing notes and updating my CRM. But when you don't suck like me you can do a lot of cool things like... This two-way automated sync between Affinity.co and Notion! *Doesn't have to Affinity, you could do this for any CRM like Attio or Salesforce This mega VC wanted a way that whenever they update anything in Affinity, that same update is automatically mirrored into Notion and vise versa. That could be: → Adding notes → Moving a deal to the next stage → Tracking pipeline/dealflow metrics → Or really anything you want it to be What this does is allow Affinity and Notion to both be the sources of truth. Here's what the super simple (jokes!) Make workflows looked like?? Feel free to copy it and steal it for yourself :) Are these types of crazy automations we build interesting? Want me to show off more?

This is the question I get asked most. And I used to not know how to answer it until we built this... (demo ??) How do you migrate off of (insert x tool) onto Notion? **x tool could be Airtable, Confluence, Monday, Jira, Guru, literally anything, etc Well here's your answer in this short ~3 min demo. It's Notion migration demo time!!!! This is our exact step by step process for migrations. The secret sauce. The golden goose. The bees knees. And everything in between. Boom! ?? Know anyone looking to migrate onto Notion from some inferior tool? You now know a guy ??

Has this ever happened to you? If so, you're not alone, there's help out there... I'm of course talking about the state of your Notion workspace! If your workspace has become a death valley (see what I did there? ??) of: →?Meeting notes →?Random page after page after page →?Out of date docs no one can trust anymore You're not alone. Trust me. I've seen it time and time again, some would say daily. It's truly tragic. But there's help out there. Don't let your company become a victim of a messy Notion workspace. And call me before it's too late.... 5038807397 if you want to be efficient and call me while supplies last!

Here I am at the lowest point in North America.... And all I could think about was one thing and one thing only.... If your company's Notion adoption is as low as that basin.... Then we should probably talk ?? Worst case, you get some super cool free Notion tips. Best case, your company builds the greatest Notion workspace ever. Doesn't sound so bad when you put it like that eh?

Want to know how to automate an entire sales process? Here's how we did it for a global product design leader.... But spoiler alert, it ain't easy.... They used a combination of Notion, Slack, Airtable, Copper, Smartsheet, Google Drive, and Zapier in their sales process. Step 1: → Map out all of their processes from first touch to closed deal to end project → That's the giant mega Miro board you see ?? Step 2: → Define automation by stage → What manual processes can be automated at every step of the sales process Step 3: → Build it → It was a 20 stage Zap ?? but oh baby does it change the game (Pssttt will add a link to it in the comments if you wanna to copy/steal the Zap) Step 4: → Document what we just built → Cut through the noise of the team having to learn it on their own → Clear SOPs and custom video demos to make this new automated system scalable for the future And boom, what you see below is how to automate an entire sales process. Seems easy enough right? ?? Check the comments if you want to see the Zap for yourself. (heck steal it)

I have generated over 750k impressions in the last 365 days posting daily. Here's my exact content strategy: (you can steal it) #1 Edutainment Notion / no code automation content that is educational and entertaining ? I am trying to provide as much value as possible with every post? ? You can find Notion content anywhere so I need to add a twist? ? That twist is where the entertainment piece comes in, has to be unique #2 Give away the process, sell the implementation I tell you exactly how we build at Optemization and what we do for our clients This does a few things... 2a) If you watch one of my demos or read my posts you could: → Copy the exact process and use it for yourself (some will, most won't) → Try it on your own, realize how hard it is and then give up / hit me up → Say "wow that's cool I want that!" and hit me up Give away the process for free, sell the implementation "If the things you give away for free are better than what your competitors charge for, people will automatically assume you have the best solution" Stolen straight out of the Alex Hormozi playbook and wow does it hit like crack 2b) Increases trust You already know what we do and you've already seen my face so... → If you're interested, we just need to sort out the remaining logistics? ** like price, timeline, scope etc → Leads to much better (and more fun) conversations than cold outreach I smile a lot and am sometimes funny so maybe that helps? Idk #3 Be authentically and unapologetically Skyler This is by far my favorite part. I'm literally just being me, always have been, always will be :) When I'm not talking about Notion / automation, I'm talking about: ? Tech Pickleball ? The game show I created (Sell me this SaaS)? ? The highs and lows in the life of a 1 man sales team figuring it out on the fly ? All the crazy experiments I try (that usually fail miserably) ? Travel pics and updates on all the wild stuff I do? ? And of course cat pics And hey, some people like it and it's really fun Hope this was a helpful breakdown! I've been generating ~2 inbounds a week lately so clearly somethings working. It's working so well I'm thinking about ramping up to 2x posts a day.... Wish me luck ???

Happy Birthday Optemization! ?? This amazing world-dominating Notion / automation consultancy turns 5 today! Can you believe that? I can't. Huge shoutout to Tem ?for founding this rocketship. But bigger shout out to him for having a Notion tattoo on his arm... Cause without it, I would've never gotten hired here. And never would have closed over $1 million in revenue (!!!!) over the last ~15 months as a 1 man sales army here. Current stop: ? Helped 100+ companies migrate, implement, and/or get the most out of Notion Next stop: ? World Notion domination ? World automation domination ? World no/low code domination To infinity and Notion beyond ?? Can't believe this company got me to put a Notion sticker on my phone.

Let's talk about something weird. Have you ever heard of a company where their best selling point is also their biggest weakness? Enter the Notion problem... → Notion's biggest selling point is that it's infinitely customizable ? That's also their biggest weakness? ? Companies get overwhelmed and don't set it up correctly ? This leads to massive issues over time Let me give you an example: We started working with a series B ~250 person startup → They loved Notion!? ? But overtime their workspace has become an unstructured dumping ground ? It was just page after page after page of scattered info ? No one could find what they were looking for ? Cross collaboration was non existent Basically, it was a disaster! → We realized quite quickly that they had no databases!? ? They didn't even know what a notion database was or how to use it! ? And they still liked using Notion??? Crazy talk Imagine how much better their life is now that they have centralized databases? Spoiler alert, a lot. And that my friends is the Notion problem. Pssttt, don't be like that company, I promise there's a better way ??
