GoldenWeb was ALREADY over 6-figures a month, but we helped them 3x their revenue in less than a year The problem: They were using Google Sheets for the entire business, and tracking clients, projects, and hundreds of articles per month was starting to break (and the founder, Ben, wanted to ensure the best quality possible for his clients) Here's what we did for GoldenWeb: 1) Systems Audit We met with their team to map their entire process (how they did audits, content, their process for formatting articles, pricing, their sales funnel etc) We learned that their 2 largest bottlenecks were their CRM (they were tracking SEO audits & the current project in Google Sheets) And, content QA & publishing to Shopify (they had a 20 person content team, but these writers would occasionally make mistakes that would ruin SEO, and it was time consuming to check hundreds of articles and upload these to client's Shopify sites) 2) Airtable Process Management System They were using Google Sheets for everything (which is great when you're small, but when your business has 20+ people this can be too flexible, and cause info to get lost and make automations unstable. So, we built out 2 Airtable systems for them - a CRM (to manage the different websites, which technical audits/sample projects/retainers they had, and the contacts for each site) - a content management system (which Ben said allowed them to process 5x as many articles as they could before -- by automating SEO quality control, and uploading to Shopify or Wordpress) This meant we could start to build automations, but it also gave the GoldenWeb team a "source of truth" so they always knew the status of each client and project (eg: they could answer questions like "which clients owe us money" "which services are the most profitable" and "in May, how many sites converted to a free sample project to paid, and how many days did it take on average?") In other words, it was a source of truth for: -the GoldenWeb team -leadership -GoldenWeb's clients -their 3rd party content team 3) Automation & Iteration Automation is never done after it's first implemented - and with GoldenWeb it was no different. We kept adding new features (like handling image resizing & uploading, adding tables of contents automatically, and checking for other SEO mistakes that a human writing team always makes -- there were some crazy examples!) 1. Get PhantomBuster or Apify 2. Hook it up to an automation 3. Print money (use it to get leads for $0.0004, replace a $3k a month agency etc)

We built this Zillow autoresponder for real estate client (gets inbound emails from Zillow leads, tracks stats per property over time, matches to a property in the database or any existing applications from the same person) But even if you're not in real estate, this might still be interesting as a use case -- because you can build automations that read your emails for you (we've done this with Amazon businesses as well)
