Governor Moore’s supplemental budget is a step forward, but it doesn’t cover the proposed $457 million in cuts for FY 2026—cuts that would severely impact services for people with developmental disabilities. Today is DD Day at the Legislature, and we had a wonderful time sharing what makes the work of Opportunities, Inc. so special and why it means so much to us, people in services, and our community. A common theme in our stories was the joy of volunteering, supporting our local community, and meeting new friends along the way.
