Incredible day on the Hill yesterday with National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR) and Thomas V Johnson! We spoke about glaucoma from the perspective of the patient and clinician/researcher. Dr Johnson shared some of his incredible research on regrowing retinal ganglion cells. We also had the opportunity to meet with several Congressional offices to discuss the importance of continued funding for eye and vision research. Patients coupled with clinicians/researchers make magic happen. Separately we make a difference - together we create change!
