Meet Ally. Over the past four years, Alexandra McClellan, MSN, PMHNP-BC has worn many hats at Ophelia, starting as one of our first RNs, stepping into leadership as a nursing supervisor, and now transitioning into a prescribing clinician after completing her psychiatric nurse practitioner program. Through every role, one thing has remained the same: her dedication to her patients. "On the hardest days, what inspires me is thinking about the growth that I have witnessed in my patients' eyes!" We’re lucky to have clinicians like Ally who bring both expertise and heart to this work every day.

In celebration of our 5 year anniversary, we're asking some of our most tenured clinicians why they chose a career in addiction and what inspires them every day. First off is Ellen Linde, FNP BC

Here’s to five years of impact—and many more ahead. The headline speaks for itself. And at Ophelia, we’re working every day to change this reality. By using telehealth, we’re breaking down barriers and making buprenorphine treatment accessible to those who need it most. https://lnkd.in/giDZf6uR

There is nothing we love seeing more than strangers stepping in and setting the record straight on this 'not sober' nonsense. #opioidusedisorder #telehealth

February is #BlackHistoryMonth. This is a time to honor the contributions and resilience of Black communities while addressing ongoing inequities. This month, we’re spotlighting the disproportionate impact of addiction and overdose on communities of color and the systemic barriers they face in accessing care. Studies, like the one linked below, show that people of color often face bias in opioid addiction care. Join us as we explore how telehealth can help bridge these gaps and create a fairer, more compassionate healthcare system. https://lnkd.in/eDgTAR7u
