    100Xing the best accountants @ Quanta -- we're hiring

Today, Quanta is opening its doors for general availability. We’re also announcing our $4.7M seed round led by?Accel, with participation from Designer Fund, basecase capital, Comma Capital, Founders You Should Know, Operator Collective ??, Homebrew, Elad Gil, and many incredible angels. Quanta is an accounting service with a product-first approach. We built our own general ledger powered by an AI accounting engine— replacing Quickbooks and automating what outsourced bookkeepers do manually. We use this system to provide a lightning-fast accounting service. The status quo accounting experience is a several week lag on your business’s most vital information — making growing your business like driving a car with a speedometer and gas meter that have a month-long delay. We believe it won’t be long before businesses refuse to accept that norm, and insist on making today’s decisions with today’s data. I’ve spent the majority of my career as a software engineer building financial systems and ledgers. Through that experience, I learned how surprisingly painful it was for businesses to answer seemingly simple questions about their finances, and set out to solve that problem with Quanta. After well over a year of heads-down building, we’re excited to open the doors to our precision accounting solution that keeps itself up-to-date, self-validates, and answers crucial business questions. Read about our story here: https://lnkd.in/gxmfdzqN And check out our coverage in TechCrunch: https://bit.ly/quanta-tc And most importantly, you can now be up and running on full service accounting in 10 minutes at usequanta.com with our newly launched self-serve onboarding. The time to get ahead by choosing the fastest moving accounting service is now ??

  • What’s something that 100% of founders are looking for? High-quality connections to potential customers for feedback and relationship building. Earlier this month, we brought this to life in a powerful new way with our inaugural Technical Product Showcase. We gathered an exceptional group of senior technical leaders – CTOs, CIOs, and VPs from companies like IBM, Cisco, and Chainalysis – to provide candid feedback to emerging startups building the next wave of enterprise technology. Here are a few things we saw, from OpCo Founder in Residence Kieran Snyder.

  • This is what the future of AI pipe gen looks like! Congratulations to Linda Lian and the Common Room team on tackling three big things reshaping enterprise GTM: strategy rebuilds, revenue efficiency mandates, and AI-powered competition. ??

The AI SDR is dead...long live the AI SDR!!! ?? 2 things I learned from the AI SDR hype cycle: 1. The current crop of AI SDRs doesn’t move the needle. Research says churn rates for these tools are as high as 2x the annual average of human SDRs—a role with notoriously high turnover. 2. The AI SDR *use case*—and the business opportunity it unlocks—is very, very real. At Common Room, we don’t believe the future of go-to-market is fully agentic. We don’t believe it’s fully human, either. We believe the most successful organizations will have humans and AI agents working hand in hand to deliver better, faster, and more personalized customer experiences. Sometimes that means fully automating processes, like triaging high-volume, non-strategic inbound leads. Other times it means scaling human-in-the-loop workflows with targeted data and signal capture, contact suggestions, and auto-generated messaging. Every go-to-market leader I talk to—from CROs to sales VPs to Ops directors—tells me that they want AI to help. They also tell me that they’re underwhelmed by their options. Spam cannons that burn through your TAM and get your domain blocked and blacklisted. Black box decision-making that’s hidden behind opaque algorithms and completely dependent on manual data wrangling and prompt-and-pray engineering from Ops. Automation that requires rep intervention at every touchpoint, from weeding out unqualified leads to rewriting “Hope this email finds you well” outbound to cleaning up CRM hygiene issues. After talking to hundreds of GTM teams, we’ve identified 3 areas that are ripe for agentic transformation: 1. Pipeline capture 2. Pipeline orchestration 3. Pipeline activation Common Room is launching agents for each starting this week. ? RoomieAI Capture is an always-on data and signal hunter that shifts the burden of gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing account insights—something time-crunched reps either do sporadically or not at all—to an always-on AI colleague. ? RoomieAI Orchestrate is a fully customizable growth hacker that packages up every data point in your digital ecosystem and makes it actionable for reps, automatically surfacing and stack ranking high-converting plays. ? RoomieAI Activate is an outreach expert that crafts highly personalized, highly relevant messaging for every contact in real time using retrieval augmented generation techniques. You have total flexibility to fully automate—or augment. Because it’s not a question of robots vs. humans, it’s a question of what’s best for your customers and what makes the most sense for your business. The AI SDR is alive and well. It just doesn’t look like what you think. Learn more about our product vision—and what’s coming this week—here: https://lnkd.in/gA4887PS

Founder of Operator Collective, a venture firm and community of founders and operator LPs

AI has emerged as the “it” technology. And with the emergence has come the predictable flow of capital to AI-related startups. Four of us from very different funds (Nancy Wang of Felicis, Shruti Gandhi of Array Ventures, Tiffany Luck of New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and I (Operator Collective ??)) gave our takes today at the Women in VC Summit on all things AI and the enterprise, ranging from where startups can grow and thrive, valuations, and where opportunities lie, expertly moderated by Catherine C.. Thank you all for a very fun and enlightening discussion! A few of our takes: Tiffany: - Excitement for 2025 as the dawn of reasoning and seeing the value that will be created at the application layer from moving from systems of record to systems of action with AI / agents. - Valuations fluctuate up and down. When pricing rounds, NEA looks at the longer term outcome, rather than the specific valleys and peaks. Shruti - Looks for founders who have lived with the problem for have 3-4 years, and sometimes being so focused on it that they've built a solution on the side in their free time. - Valuations at preseed have stayed fairly flat. Nancy - If we compare AI agents to traditional software development, three key phases emerge: 1/ Development: What are the right?abstractions that will unlock agent composition and orchestration? 2/ Testing: How do we move to dynamic agent observability and monitoring? 3/ CI/CD: What mechanisms enable incremental updates? - Especially in areas like security, where the outcome tends to be acquisition, Felicis looks at the likely acquisition value as one guide in determining valuation. Mine: - In the early days, debates included open source v. proprietary models, and which particular model would win. It's clear now that no one model will take all. The next generation already natively knows which model is best for what task, function, or use case, and this is how they will expect to work as they fill the workforce. - Even if there's no apparent moat/competitive differentiation and questionable churn, we're seeing companies get multiple term sheets and high valuations as long as they can show quick revenue growth to $5-10M.
