Operation Liberation

Operation Liberation is a Black-led, Black-centered non-profit organization founded in Kansas City. Our work aims to address how Black Kansas Citians are disproportionately criminalized and caged while awaiting trial due to over-policing and institutional anti-Blackness. We do this through our bailout program, revolutionary support efforts, and transformative justice work. We are Abolitionist who believe a new world that affirms and invests in people, community, and care over profits, property, and punishment is possible. By doing our part to abolish the violent institution of mass incarceration and the prison industrial complex that are rooted in anti-Blackness, we're building on the legacy of our Ancestors who resisted and fought for our freedom.
