Today for Veterans and Military Family Month we're highlighting U.S. Marine Corps Sgt Jason Lilley. His family received a mortgage-free home in July thanks to support from the West Texas Home Builders Association. In early 2001, Lilley enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Just months into his service, he watched the September 11, 200,1 terrorist attacks on America helplessly, knowing he would soon be called to combat to serve his nation. Based in New Braunfels, Texas, Operation Finally Home was established in 2005 as a non-partisan/non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and has completed or is in the planning stages on more than 300 home projects in more than 31 states. Operation Finally Home partners with corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, remodelers, developers, individual contributors and volunteers to help these heroes and their families by addressing one of their most pressing needs – a place to call home.

Meet U.S. Army Staff SSG Nate Tomshack! We're highlighting his family today for Veterans and Military Family Month. We're working with Lennar CA to provide his family with a mortgage-free home. Nate enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 19, following in the footsteps of both of his grandfathers as well as his father. During his six years of service, Nate served three combat deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. He was honorably discharged in 2014. You can read his story here: https://bit.ly/4eoyRju
