Operation Allies Refuge Foundation Joseph Laude Aidan Gunderson It is one of my goals as the head of OAR's Historical Research and Preservation Team to collect as many first-hand accounts of the 2021 Afghanistan Withdrawal as possible. The foundation as a whole, including myself, want to give the veterans, participants, and witnesses to these events the chance to share their stories about what they went through during that insane summer. This call does not just go out to members of the United States military or US government and non-government agencies. There were many nations involved (the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to name a few) and we would love to have their perspectives as well. As we enter 2024, please help us be a voice for this community, and please help us construct an honest, meaningful, and full account of what happened in Afghanistan during the summer of 2021, and its aftermath.
