At this year’s US HUPO, one theme that stood out was the focus on high-throughput proteomics experiments. As labs push the boundaries of discovery, automation is no longer optional—it’s essential. As highlighted in Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News' coverage by Uduak Grace Thomas, the new Opentrons Flex Proteomics Workstation is that automation solution for proteomics scientists, designed to streamline mass spec sample prep with workflows for protein digestion, quantification, labeling, and purification. "We’re now in a world where it’s conceivable to run a sample and generate thousands of protein data points within minutes," said James Atwood, GM of Robotics at Opentrons, in the GEN article.
