The OpenTable team dug through U.S. diner insights and consumer research to identify the dining trends that gained momentum this year, and figure out which ones have staying power through 2025. A preview: people are on the hunt for unique experiences, mid-week reservations, group dining and best of all, have a lot of optimism for dining out, with 54% of respondents planning to dine out more in 2025 than they did this year. Younger generations are leading this movement, with 71% of Gen Z participants and 68% of Millennial participants planning to up their dining frequency in 2025.
