OpenSpace is an open-source software bringing cutting-edge data visualization and science content to the general public. Built upon space and Earth datasets from NASA and other researchers, OpenSpace allows users to tour the virtual universe. OpenSpace is compatible with multiple operating systems, from planetarium domes to theaters, flat screens, touch tables, and more. Over forty institutions around the world use OpenSpace as a tool for science communication, interactive presentations, and STEM internships and learning. OpenSpace is funded in part by NASA under award No. NNX16AB93A. We're excited to collaborate with The Elumenati for the inaugural GeoDome Network conference and workshop!
Today’s the day! We're kicking off our inaugural #GeoDome Network conference and workshop. We’re hosting a core group of GeoDome clients for a deep dive into our #WorldViewer immersive content engine and its many possibilities. https://lnkd.in/e6mRGVPV Along with guest presenters from the OpenSpace team at the American Museum of Natural History and the PEAK Institute at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, we’ll be showcasing a range of use cases and user-created content. We're diving into some of the interactive applications available for our clients from partners at the IDIA Lab. The workshop will also generate a lot of resources for the wider network of GeoDome users. After the show, new WorldViewer Stories - turnkey content pieces for GeoDome #immersive installations - will be available on our website, and we’ll be distributing recordings of the conference sessions.
