#IATAConnect app now launched on both Apple and android platforms - our ‘Aviation Safety Gateway’ is THE collaboration and communication tool for ALL International Air Transport Association (IATA) safety-related activities.

For many years we’ve been talking about pain points such as smarter oversight or connecting and sharing in our industry. I’m thrilled to announce the launch of IATA Connect, our new network-based platform. It includes: 1. the IOSA registry and an airline directory with airline profiles 2. a central resource library including IOSA documentation and much more 3. the Safety Issue Hub, our hazards repository 4. Safety Connect, our discussion forums for all users to join. Airlines, auditors, regulators and other industry experts are invited to join the platform to share and exchange. IATA Connect will transform compliance oversight among airlines and regulators, driving a smarter and connected industry. Main feedback from our partners on the Open Social Summit? If next year it can be 2 days please..! We feel humbled and grateful so many of you came to Amsterdam to learn, share, discuss and connect. These are some key takeaways: ○ Me and Bram ten Hove launched Open Social's new website and vision for our Community Experience Platform (#CXP) - check out getopensocial.com and we will be sharing a lot more in the future! ○ Next Nina Grinman talked about the impact of 33.000 experts active on SparkBlue.org sparking inter-agency collaboration at the United Nations ○ Kirsten Wagenaar shared her experience in community building, what key elements are and how trust is a major factor for success ○ After a delicious lunch Manuela Capraro shared what metrics WAGGGS uses to measure success and how this changes as a community matures ○ Our very own Moritz Arendt talked about our new flagship project for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and how this helped us invest into core architecture such as or API and Group update - more to be revealed soon. ○ Hostess of the Summit Jamila Kheil shared our new Community Building Handbook, a guide to build successful online platforms with Open Social ○ And Dominique De Cooman shared their experiences with their open DXP and automation tool Mautic - the system we will use for Engagement Automation ○ Final talk was from Raissa Vitorio Pereira how their global SHINE platform helps in the fight to end violence against women and girls ○ Thank you to our panelists Airah Cadiogan, David Gray and Frédéric Williquet to end the day with their valuable insights on community management. Thursday May 30th at the Open Social Summit '24 me and our CTO Bram ten Hove will share our new vision, roadmap and architecture. Of course we remain dedicated to open-source, as the open web means freedom for us and our clients.

While the Open Social Summit will have clients joining from 4 continents we also invited the best external experts in the community building and strategy field. For example Kirsten Wagenaar will present her insights why "just bringing people together, does not mean actually connecting people" and what conditions are needed in order to create this invaluable connections that lead to knowledge exchange and thus platform engagement. Super excited for next week's Open Social Summit '24 with clients and partners joining from all over the world. One of our speakers is Raissa Vitorio Pereira, Knowledge Exchange and Online Hub Coordinator of SHINE, a global knowledge exchange platform on ending violence against women and girls by UN Women. Now, we’re a strong, global network of 47 civil society organisations, working together for change. Our network of local experts are working individually to improve the lives of thousands of children and families in their communities. We then connect internationally to strengthen each others’ practice through collaboration, exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences and writing guidance papers for a global network of child practitioners.
