Our offsite lasted (almost) three full days. Though, to be fair, we spent part of those days playing pickleball and singing karaoke ?? Here are the biggest takeaways from bringing everyone together in San Diego: ? Remote work is a no-brainer for us. We have the most incredible team from all over the world who work where they want, the way they want. But there is still nothing quite like seeing the team together in one place. So gathering with everyone at least once a year is always a non-negotiable. This was our 5th offsite, and they only get better each time. ? Employees weren’t the only people we brought to our offsite. Eleven of our local customers also met up with us on one of the days. We can’t recommend highly enough meeting up with customers whenever you can. There’s no better way to hear about their needs and problems, and then work on solutions together. ? Teams mingling and brainstorming together can only be a positive. We came up with some great, actionable ideas and solutions to work on in the coming months. A big thank you to Elizabeth Payne & Catherine Aracil from THE OFFSITE for their hard work organizing things so we could all focus on spending time together. Last but definitely not least, a huge thank you to all of our incredible customers who joined us:? Alex Holt, Nicholas B. Frickelton, Andrew Motiwalla, Art Machekin, Vanessa Duran, Roohil Hamid, Conner Schryver, CDB, Brian W., Nicholas Payne, Sean Ivester, and Brent Colquitt. We’re so grateful for your time and insights! Countdown is on to offsite number 6 ??

Ever wonder what steps your callers are taking as they navigate your phone menu? ?? Now you don’t have to. In the latest episode of Between Two Phones, we sit down with Michael Patterson, Sr. Backend Engineer, to talk about our new phone menu insights feature. With phone menu insights, you can see exactly which menu option a caller selected — right on the incoming call screen and in post-call activity. So if someone hits “1” for sales or “0” to try and skip everything (implying they may be annoyed about something), you know before you even pick up ?? As Michael puts it: “If we have the data already, why not just give it to the users? It lets our customers know what their customers were doing, and it gives them more insight on how to follow up.” It’s a small change that makes a big impact, providing more context on every call and helping you follow up smarter. Check out the full conversation below ?? (Want to learn how to set up a phone menu? Link in comments)
