Life moves fast—so we set out to capture the moments that matter. ??? For our third project with Sequoia, we crafted a cinematic story that blends polished visuals with nostalgic, fast-paced memories. We wanted to create a story that felt honest and relatable, bringing real emotion to the screen. From a beautifully lit proposal scene to intimate flashbacks shot handheld with anamorphic lenses, every frame was designed to feel true to life. Creating the right production design for this project was no small feat - we had to create a proposal setting with over 100 candles and custom memories that showed their relationship over time. In honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, we’re thrilled to share our latest commercial for Sequoia from our Memories campaign! Once again, we embraced the challenge of crafting a story within the four walls of an apartment complex. This time, we landed on a proposal story—but we didn’t want it to feel like the typical one. To bring it to life, we used a series of seamless transitions, highlighting not just the big milestones but also the quiet, meaningful moments in between. As filmmakers, we’re fortunate to work on many types of projects, but this latest documentary we produced for Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry's Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation is especially close to our hearts. We poured nine months into crafting, filming, and editing this story—and every moment was worth it. “From Struggle to Strength: Advancing Literacy in Oakland” is the first in a series of short films showcasing the work Eat. Learn. Play. is doing to transform the school experience for Oakland students. The documentary highlights the critical role of high-dosage tutoring in improving literacy rates and building student confidence. As part of a $25 million, five-year commitment, Eat. Learn.
