At Open Door Exchange, we're looking for volunteers, particularly those able to help with furniture moves alongside a small team. Reliable transportation is needed for 1-2 Saturdays per month. We also have lighter duties and client assistance shifts available on weekdays, 2-3 times a month. As the FIRST and only furniture bank on Long Island, we help keep furniture out of landfills and connect it to families in need, receiving referrals from organizations, schools, shelters, and more across the region.
