1.5 years of OpenClinTech As 2024 comes to a close, I'm reflecting on the progress I've made in launching OpenClinTech back in July 2023. It was my personal initiative to create educational content at the intersection of healthcare and technology that was easily accessible (e.g. free) in hopes that we'll find more innovative solutions to our healthcare problems today. It was also a continuation of my 2022 goal during the LinkedIn Creator Accelerator Program (https://lnkd.in/ejsE_DBd) to create the content that I wish I had when I was a student. To be honest, the momentum has been slower than I'd like as I've only barely scratched the surface of what I had hoped to achieve in my 2023 planning (https://lnkd.in/e3hgvFSJ). Nonetheless, I'm still proud of my deliverables thus far and excited for the opportunity to continue learning, building, and connecting with my community. Virtual Pharmacy Open (#VPO) Houses 2024! To make it easier to centralize and streamline the awareness of the virtual Pharmacy Open houses being posted/shared by various employers for 2024, we've made a new page to make it easier to crowd-source and centralize all of that information for prospective candidates to view, sign-up, and learn more about. Employers can use the provided form to populate information about their event(s), including links to sign up to their event, that will be publicly available to everyone that visits the site. Further, employers can view the profiles of any candidates that opt to post their information. Candidates can use the website to view all the virtual open houses that are posted by employers. In this course, we'll build a simple body mass index (BMI) calculator using Python and deploy it on the web via Streamlit so you can show off your shiny new app! Intended audience: beginners new to programming that are interested in building applications for healthcare.
