?Open Austria attended the Silicon Valley November Summit 2024 at Plug and Play Tech Center! ? More than 3,500 innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders came together to shape the future of technology, showcasing over 300 startups and hearing from 75+ speakers across 20+ industries. Christoph Schmidt, CFO and Head of Business Development and Innovation at Vienna Airport, shared valuable insights as a panelist on "Concept to Compass: Innovating in Travel." It was also a pleasure to catch up with our friend Stefan Faistenauer, Ventures Senior Associate at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale. ?? ...and that's how we pitched! The highlight of GoUSA Silicon Valley 2024 was our Austrian Demo Night. Our startups had 3 minutes to pitch in front of an audience of investors, founders, mentors and friends of Austria. They truly did a great job and thanks to their hard work and the great support of Natasha Chatlein, Jeff Wallace, Kal Deutsch and all the mentors, their pitches reached a new level. Georg Molzer, CEO & Founder at?Shadowmap, won the popular vote with his pitch, congrats - but everyone left as a winner.
