Thanksgiving is always a busy time around The Table. We thank our many volunteers for their hundreds of hours, and all of our supporters for their generous donations, in order to make this holiday brighter for our neighbors in need. Wishing everyone in our community a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Providing Healthy Food in a Welcoming Environment Open Table’s mission is to end hunger in our local community by providing healthy food in ways that respect the dignity and diversity of those served. Open Table offers a wide variety of healthy and culturally appropriate groceries and prepared meals at our main facility in Maynard and through several mobile pantries and delivery programs. We provide a welcoming community of support and assistance to families and individuals, including many seniors and children in central Middlesex county, and have a team of diverse, committed and passionate staff and volunteers.

We had another one of our long-standing community food drives take place this week. Many thanks to Pamela Callahan and the Red Wagon Nashoba neighborhood! Our Operations Manager Rob said "I am impressed at how these events serve a dual purpose. One as an act of kindness to help those in need. Second, providing an activity that builds community by bringing neighbors together to create new connections or nourish old friendships." This is definitely how you spread #MoreLoveLessHunger for the holidays!

The Concord Turkey Trot is one week from today and whether you are registered to run or just there to cheer, you can bring donations for Open Table with you!
