In recognition of #NationalRuralHealthDay we would like to introduce you to Mrs. Brenda Manuel, a patient of Opelousas General Rural Health Clinic (RHC.) Brenda's access to total healthcare exemplifies how rural health clinics can connect patients to vital resources. "I chose Opelousas General Rural Health Clinic because so many services were offered to me at my fingertips. I didn't have to go and search for specialists or anything like that, everything is here." The one-on-one support that she receives from her provider and clinic staff has made a positive difference in her health journey. "I love my provider Christina Guillory. I've had so much trouble with managing my thyroid levels, and Christina has taught me how to properly take my medication and I have been stable ever since. The clinic is like family, and they call me Aunt Brenda when I walk through the door!" Brenda's advice is "If you worry about your health and you are interested in total healthcare, this is the place to be." We are so thankful to help Brenda and patients just like her in our rural health clinic. Opelousas Rural Health Clinic is open Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm with same and next day appointments. https://lnkd.in/d4gW6kw2
