?? #MillerLite took fantasy football punishments to a whole new level with a one-day #OOH campaign, putting last-place finishers on billboards in Chicago, IL, Gainesville, GA and Spring, TX for the ultimate public roast. That’s right, fantasy football’s biggest “losers” had their photos displayed on #billboards across the country for all to see. Because if you’re going to lose, you might as well go out in legendary fashion. ?? At least there was a silver lining, each “loser” walked away with exclusive Miller Lite merch and $500 to either drown their sorrows or start plotting next year’s comeback.???? I met Rebecca Vickers over a breakfast in Beverly Hills on a Saturday... A SATURDAY! I was in LA for a client trip - and Alyssa F. had been singing her praises as we looked to build out the LA team. I told Rebecca I'd be out in LA - but only over the weekend - and we could hop on a call to quickly chat more about the role, but she offered to come and have breakfast with me IRL. I knew after 10 minutes she was a fit (plus she wasn't shy and just had some tea...she joined me in a real deal breakfast, which was a telling sign). Thrilled to announce her promotion to Associate Media Director. Couldn't be happier we have her as part of our foundation. #work #life #team

As a former OOH sales rep, I despised new commission plans because they were often meant to disguise a commission cut. There are legitimate reasons to adjust compensation, the biggest being realignment of the company priorities. Be transparent, honest, and upfront with your reps. Digital Out-of-Home and audio will soon be staples in media budgets because of the resurgance of MMM. Every MMM I’ve run that includes them has shown these channels deliver value, but only if you target them correctly in terms of audience, creative, and inventory. Always buy through PMPs. Don’t gamble on the open exchange unless you’re confident in the direct path to real inventory. For DOOH, repurposing CTV ads doesn’t work. As my friend Tim Rowe and I have discussed many times, DOOH videos should mimic social stories, not CTV. They need to be designed to get the message across even with the sound off.
