The Senior Manager will effectively own and drive the inventory reduction management process across business units by working with leaders across the enterprise to drive governance and accountability to target, execute the monthly management of the SI&OP process capturing the status and challenges in a monthly dashboard to cross functional stakeholders, and ensure standardized templates and data sources are developed and executed each month within the agreed calendar allowing issues and actions to be raised holistically to each department and business unit. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul F. McLaughlin, who served as chief executive officer of Rudolph Technologies from 1996 to 2015. Under Paul's leadership, Rudolph Technologies evolved into a leading supplier of process control equipment for the semiconductor industry. He played a pivotal role in the company's IPO in 1999 and was instrumental in the acquisition of August Technology in 2006, which laid the foundation for the company's future growth in process control. Paul's legacy is one of innovation, dedication, and transformative leadership. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Glass substrates are poised to reach 1.5μm L/S, but they will need innovations to reach sub-1.5μm L/S requirements. One innovation: photo imageable dielectric (PID) materials could replace the laser drilled build-up film via process currently used in glass advanced IC substrates (AICS). This technique would improve the patterning of the build-up film dielectric vias. A vital component of modern communication systems, bulk acoustic wave (BAW) resonators function as filters, oscillators and sensors. In a BAW device, the acoustic waves are confined within a specific region to achieve efficient resonance. The air ring structure, including the edge air layer structure, prevents acoustic energy from leaking. However, measuring the critical dimensions (CD) of edge air layers is challenging. During the presentation CD Step Application in Edge Air Layer Structure Measurement for Bulk Acoustic Resonator, Onto Innovation’s Alex Hong will discuss how the IVS? 220 enables manufacturers to address this challenge at the Conference of Science & Technology for Integrated Circuits (CSTIC), March 24-26, in Shanghai, China. The IVS 220 system provides good repeatability and high throughput [130 wph, five (5) fields, one (1) site per field]. In addition, the IVS 220 system also can be used for overlay measurement, CD measurement (including angle CD and diameter of the circle or hole) and Z height measurement.
