At last week's Sustainability Lab @ T-REX, we heard from Susan Zareh about how Forsyth Elementary will save about $2,000/year from solar, or $40,000 over their 20-year solar lease agreement. Mayor Brian K. Jackson from the City of Beverly Hills shared how they incorporated energy efficiency and water efficiency upgrades in preparation for getting solar on their city hall. And Justin Idleburg shared about a new initiative Genesis Green, which hopes to give heat pumps to a few local houses of worship and work with local workforce training programs on the installation.
