After breaking ground on a Spartanburg County facility in 2023, Milo's Tea Company, Inc. is already investing another $53 million in #OneSpartanburg; to expand its facility and create another 80 new jobs. Our organization was one of several fortunate enough to be present for a significant philanthropic announcement that will benefit hundreds of Spartanburg County students. The Meeting Street Scholarship Fund is officially expanding to Spartanburg, and is open to students from all nine public high schools across our county. "This is all about going to the next level." This morning, reps from our team joined Spartanburg County and the Seventh Circuit Solicitor's Office for a ceremony recognizing a partnership where Re: Degree Spartanburg will help four Legal Assistants at the Solicitor's Office earn their official Paralegal certification. Along with helping those with some college experience but no degree complete their studies, Re:Degree aims to work with employers countywide to help individuals or cohorts earn high-value certifications, allowing for career-advancement and better talent-retention across our county. Spartanburg County welcomed back the NCAA for the Men's and Women's Division II Cross-Country Southeast Regional at the Milliken & Company Arboretum. We're already excited to welcome this event, and the DI Southeast Regionals, back to our community in 2026.
