How did we get here? It all started in a lab in Brazil. Our co-founders - Carolina, Alessandra, Mariana, and Juliana - were united by their passion for longevity science, skin health, and optimal living. Though we launched our first topical supplement in 2021, it’s been 9+ years of research and formulating - since 2016. Laying the foundation of OneSkin. ??? 2016: Carolina moves from Brazil to Silicon Valley and co-founded OneSkin. OneSkin was accepted into the IndieBio Acceleration Program and the journey began. ??? 2017: Alessandra receives an invite from Carolina to lead the research team at OneSkin. “Our goal is to reproduce the skin aging process in the lab to develop a robust and innovative way of measuring the effectiveness of skincare products by understanding the skin’s biological age.” ??? 2017-2018: Countless hours of research in the lab and screening 900+ peptides led to the development of the proprietary OS-01 Peptide. ??? 2019-2021: After researching, testing, refining many formulations, OS-01 FACE was developed, leading to the commercial launch of OneSkin. ??? 2022-2025: The innovation in our lab continues, leading to new discoveries and longevity-focused line expansions into body products, suncare, and even an optimized cleanser. Science is never static. Our team is dedicated to advancing skin science through continuous research, cutting-edge formulas, and clinically-validated results.
