I am very grateful for the professional community that surrounded me in Oklahoma last week at the #NSSBY2025. It is always so energizing to see the efforts of individuals, agencies, and organizations in providing inclusive, trauma-informed, culturally considerate services for all children, youth, and families in their care. Each presentation and conversation prioritized the importance of healthy, holistic family engagement and age-and developmentally-informed education and support for children and youth across the span of their development. A wonderful reminder for us all to “Be curious, not judgemental.”
