Our Champion Circle event in Illinois was an inspiring gathering of some of OneGoal's biggest champions to hear powerful stories of impact from alumni. Thank you to board members Liz Thompson for hosting us and Fareeda Shabazz Anderson, Ed.D for moderating our fireside chat! OneGoal alumni Sergio Lopez Jr., Huda Fatima Ganatra, and Denesha Williams brought us along their educational journeys. Last Friday we held our 4th annual OneGoal Metro Atlanta Student Summit at the beautiful Clayton State University!! This day of inspiration centers on career exposure— students attended a selection of over 22 career worshops and panels on aviation, AI, healthcare, sports off the field, law, politics, and so many more. Over 150 community members came out to volunteer their time and wisdom with joy and learning abound! This day is always such a cup filler and a reminder of how many committed partners care deeply about our students and their postsecondary journeys.
