We are excited to announce that?#OneEthos?has partnered with?Montgomery County Green Bank to launch an exclusive one-year pilot program starting in November 2024 that will provide affordable solar loan solutions to homeowners in Montgomery County, Maryland.?? ? Key Highlights of the Program: ? ??Affordable Solar Loans:?The program offers discounted solar loans with rates as low as 0% for low-income households, up to 4.99% for other residents. Homeowners can also include battery storage and roof replacement in their loan, making it easier and more affordable to switch to solar. ?Energy Savings and Impact:??In its first year, the pilot is expected to generate over $5 million in consumer loans, with roughly 50% of transactions taking place in Equity Emphasis Areas. Anticipated energy savings will amount to 1,800,000 kWh, 61,437 therms annually, and over 1,272 metric tons of CO2 emissions mitigated. Homeowners are projected to save $234,000 in energy costs annually. ??Partnership Expansion:?Following a successful pilot phase, we plan to expand this initiative to include additional energy efficiency loans and explore further opportunities for growth in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia areas.? ?
