This Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, hear from Douglas Kyle, one of our incredible team members who has lived experience with homelessness. After serving in the military and during college, Kyle faced periods of homelessness, saying, “Like many others experiencing homelessness, I was a chameleon—I blended in so no one knew.” Today, Kyle shares his story to inspire and empower our clients, showing that asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a courageous step toward stability and a brighter future.
