I am thrilled to announce that I am starting a new position as the Director of Economics for the wonderful One Water Econ team. One Water Econ is a small, female-owned consulting company specializing in: - Benefit-cost, triple bottom line, and economic impact analysis for water and NbS investments and policies - Affordability and customer assistance program development - Distributional and impact analysis - Valuation of water and natural resources, including public health, ecosystem, recreation, agricultural, and other services - Development of market-based solutions for water supply and stormwater management - Evaluation of water use and demand across sectors - Climate change vulnerability and adaptation planning I am already very impressed by the dedication, skill, and teamwork of my colleagues, Janet Clements, Jeffrey Odefey, and Claire Sheridan. One Water Econ is excited to be kicking off a second research project with The Water Research Foundation (WRF): ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????????? ?????? ?????????? ???????????????????????????? ???? ?????? ?????????????????? ?????????? (?????????????? 5253).?This research will develop an approach to natural asset management that will help utilities better manage the condition and performance of these assets, effectively allocate resources across their entire asset portfolio, and maximize the financial, social, and environmental benefits associated with water management decisions. Our amazing team includes my One Water Econ colleagues Claire Sheridan and Jeffrey Odefey, Co-Principal Investigator Bob Raucher, Caroline Koch and Ed Harrington with WaterNow Alliance, and Joni Palmer and Heather Himmelberger with the Southwest Environmental Finance Center.
