Great stuff Alexander!
?? Thrilled to have hosted Bias in the Age of AI: Navigating the Racial and Gender Divide in Algorithms, a forum organized through ONE Tower @ Babson College, where I’m honored to serve as Social Chair! This forum brought together bright minds from across campus, tackling the complex issues of bias in AI and its societal impact. Thanks to our incredible collaborators—Product Building & Jammin (PB&J), Babson AI Club, Babson CODE, and The Generator @ Babson College—who made this event possible. Special shoutout to Alex Laraia and Gavin Mestler for their invaluable support in organizing and co-presenting! A special thanks to BoodleBox for allowing us to introduce their platform to the students, which provided an invaluable foundation for hands-on collaboration. Much appreciation to France Q. Hoang and Zach Kinzler for making this possible! Together, we explored how biases can be embedded in AI through programmer input and the need for ethical AI practices. Using BoodleBox AI as our platform, diverse teams addressed real-world bias scenarios, working to build tech solutions that support inclusivity. Thank you to everyone who attended, engaged, and shared insights. Events like this reaffirm our commitment to driving innovation in AI while staying true to principles of equity and inclusion. #AIforGood #BiasInAI #EthicalTech #SocialImpact #ONETower #BabsonAI #InnovationForAll #FutureOfTech
