This effort, comprising of visionary leaders from academia, industry, and government, is dedicated to strengthening Colorado's position in aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity and workforce development. Through strategic partnerships, these two labs, the SBIR/STTR Acceleration Lab and the Gaming Lab, aims to fuel innovation and propel our state's robust space economy to even greater heights. ? Today, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced Catalyst Accelerator Colorado Springs as a Stage One winner for the 2024 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC). The Catalyst Accelerator will receive a $50,000 cash prize for its inclusive approach in supporting the launch, growth, and scale of STEM/R&D-focused small businesses in National Security and Defense. GAFC first launched in 2014, and through 2023, has awarded 427 prizes totaling over $26 million. We are honored and thrilled to be part of this year’s Stage One cohort, fostering a collaborative national support ecosystem for underrepresented entrepreneurs.
