The Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) has peer-reviewed and accepted OnDeck’s workshop paper on the development of novel techniques that allow for universal species identification. NeurIPS is the world-leading conference on machine learning and AI, held this year in Vancouver, Dec 10-15. OnDeck hosted a delegation from Japan at our offices in Vancouver last week. The delegation of fisheries scientists, monitoring providers, and leaders from the Environmental Defense Fund crossed the Pacific to meet the team in person and dive into OnDeck Fisheries AI’s computer vision innovations.
