Oncor employees will never come to your home to ask for payments of any kind or ask to enter your home. Any Oncor employees performing work wear easy-to-identify clothing and drive company vehicles. The US and Texas flags at our #Tyler, #Texas service center have a special patriotic connection for fellow lineman and US #Army #veteran Matthew Foster. In honor of the #VeteransDay holiday this week, we spotlight the important project Foster championed & share his story on why remembering those who served is such an important moment of reflection for our communities ?? https://ms.spr.ly/6047W9ZED Encouraged by his pride for our country & his commitment to memorializing all our fallen service members, not only did he lead the charge to ensure the original weather-damaged flag at the site was replaced, but he also went further to create a stronger, longer-lasting solution so that the flags would continue to fly high & keep those who served our country memorialized.

Thank you to everyone who lined up before 6 a.m. to pick up their free tree at the Kroger Market Place in Sublett Road in Arlington. We had a great time with Hawkeye and Michelle from New Country 96.3 and gave away 130 trees as part of our ongoing partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation . Remember, planting trees in the right areas around your home helps conserve energy and save money by shading homes and windows during the warmest months and slowing cold winds in the winter.

Today we are highlighting our Area Managers and their work across our 400+ communities to represent Oncor in all local initiatives and serve as an integral part of the communities we serve. Meet West Region Manager Gus Ortega, who has been part of many Oncor milestones during his decades-long career. Ortega leads Oncor Area Managers from Mineral Wells all the way to Midland-Odessa. As an Area Manager, Ortega is a crucial link between Oncor and our West Texas communities.

Oncor has deployed 500 employees and contractors to #Florida as part of the broader mutual assistance effort bringing power resources to support the Sunshine State.
